Executive Profiles
Andrew Rivard obtained his B.A., M.S., and M.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota. Trained in general surgery and radiology; Andrew conceptualized the heart preservation device as a medical student at the University of Minnesota. He continually is a thought leader in the field of donor heart preservation. He was a principal investigator of multiple innovative projects at the University of Minnesota and has recently relocated to the University of Florida. He has over 30 peer reviewed publications and is a member of the American Heart Association, North American Society for Cardiac Imaging, and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.
Roger Christen graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S.E.E., B.S.Comp.Sci., and an M.S. in Computer Engineering. After his studies he ventured to Silicon Valley where he has worked as a Software Engineer, Hardware Engineer, and Digital Design Engineering Consultant. Currently he works as an Appliance Engineer in Cupertino, California, designing software for a high-performance server platform.
Jordan Milan, holds a BA and MBA from the University of St. Thomas. She is responsible for creating Hibernicor’s business and finanical plans. Previously Jordan served as interim marketing director for the University of St. Thomas, Division of Executive and Professional Development. While there, Jordan led a team that developed and implimented new branding strategies for the web and print for over 150 continuing and executive education programs. She worked on event marketing efforts for the Star Tribune and has developed a Web site for a Twin Cites mortgage broker. In addition to her work with Hibernicor, Jordan is an Account Executive for WestmorelandFlint, a marketing communications company based in Duluth, Minnesota.
Richard Nazarian, graduated with a B.S and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1984. Rich has 18 years experience in the medical device development field. Prior to co-founding Minnetronix, Rich led product development efforts for implantable artificial heart electronic systems, cardiopulmonary bypass systems, laser imaging systems, and other medical and industrial devices for 3M Company. Since founding Minnetronix Rich has worked as its President and CEO, and has continued to be a leader in the development of new and innovative medical devices.
